Once we all got inside we saw the gym was cleared and the jocks could go and play basketball or run around but the more serious dudes sat at tables and their girlfriends like what Kevin was doing. I sat down next to Rose and a crystal ball was in the middle of the gym. I felt like I was in a disco studio in the 1970s. The lights were flashing and the crystal ball rotated. Soon after the music was started and there were refreshments. I got 2 cups of punch and after Rose and I finished our punch we joined the slow dance although I wasnt very good. Kevin kept stepping on Jessicas shoes and after about 50 times Jessica rushed out the door Kevin chasing after her. I stepped on Roses shoes a few times but she was patient and after a while I got the feeling of a waltz and the box step. We danced a few songs and we sat down for a break. Rose: WOW youre really improving Max: Thanks to you. Rose: {blushed} Kevin: {bringing Jessica back in} Phew I thought I would never get through that. Kevin danced with Jessica and I danced with Rose some more until it was 7:00 and we had to go home. I walked Rose home Kevin walked Jessica home and I felt bad for Henry who missed the dance.
